On lucky days, a lottery seller can earn up to 230 000 VN-Dong (about 10 US-Dollars), which is enough to cover their basic needs.
In Canada, there are four nationwide lotteries: the Canada Lottery Corporation (Lotto 6/49, Lotto Max and Daily Grand) and the Interprovincial Lottery Corporation (Loto Super 7, Lotto Quebec and Millionaire Life). Each of these is operated by a regional lottery commission, owned by the provincial and territorial governments: Atlantic Lottery Corporation (New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland and Labrador), Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (Ontario), Loto-Quebec (Quebec) and Western Canada Lottery Corporation (Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and Yukon). In addition to these major national lotteries, there are also a large number of local and regional games.
