These provincial/territorial lotteries are the Atlantic Lottery Corporation (New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador), Loto-Quebec (Quebec), Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (Ontario), Western Canada Lottery Corporation (Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, Yukon Territory, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut) and British Columbia Lottery Corporation (British Columbia). The Interprovincial Lottery Corporation, a crown corporation, manages the overall operation of these lotteries.
There are two primary forms of lottery games: scratch-off tickets and electronic terminals. The former are sold at retailers, while the latter are often found at gas stations and convenience stores. In the United States, there are also numerous online lottery websites that provide instant-play games and allow customers to select their numbers before entering the drawing.
Lottery for Art is a fundraising initiative that raises money to support educational and outreach programs at Blue Line Arts. This year’s event features works of art by professional and emerging artists, as well as unique prizes. All proceeds from the event benefit the Blue Line Arts’ Education and Outreach programs.
