He said that sales of Vietnam’s lottery have been sold unlawfully in Laos as many as four times a day even though the country has its own legal lottery. The minister told the National Assembly that action will be taken to regulate these sales and address those involved.
In addition to the main legal lottery, some provinces and territories operate their own lotteries. The lottery is a key source of revenue in the province and helps fund social programs and community projects.
