Lao officials are accused of rigging the country’s state lottery system to avoid paying out large sums of money. Sources in the communist nation tell RFA’s Lao Service that the drawings for the national lottery, which take place three times a week, sometimes show numbers that are not on purchased tickets or are considered unlucky.
