All of these are operated by the Interprovincial Lottery Corporation, which is a consortium of the five regional lottery commissions owned by their respective provincial/territorial governments: Atlantic Lottery Corporation (New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador), Loto-Quebec (Quebec), Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (Ontario), and Western Canada Lottery Corporation (Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Alberta, Yukon, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut).

The numbers representing the feline in Lao culture have come up as the winning numbers of the thrice-weekly national lottery drawing in each of the past four months, which has sparked questions about how honest the drawings really are. Those in charge of the national lottery system are largely business interests with ties to the ruling elite, sources tell RFA’s Lao Service.
