In New Zealand, the national lottery is run by an autonomous Crown entity called Lotto New Zealand. Lotto New Zealand distributes its profits directly to charities and community organizations. These include Sport and Recreation New Zealand, Creative New Zealand, and the Arts Council of New Zealand. In addition, Lotto New Zealand sponsors local events and broadcasts sports coverage.
Canada has four nationwide lotteries: the Atlantic Lottery Corporation, Loto-Quebec, Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation, and Western Canada Lottery Corporation.
