But Vilasack Phommaluck, the chairman of the lottery steering committee, said that the committee has no control over what happens within the company and its agencies. He added that if the lottery company decides to block certain numbers or not sell them, it is outside his purview. However, he said the committee could investigate the matter if it received complaints from the public. He also said the committee has not yet decided whether to reduce the frequency of the lottery. He added that the ministry will consider a reduction in the prizes if necessary.
