Today, the Canadian lottery is run by the Interprovincial Lottery Corporation, a consortium of five regional lottery commissions that are owned by their provincial and territorial governments: Atlantic Lottery Corporation (New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador), Quebecor Inc., Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation, and the British Columbia Lottery Corporation. It offers four nationwide games: Lotto 6/49, Lotto Max, Daily Grand and Millionaire Life.
The New Zealand Lottery is controlled by the government through an autonomous Crown entity, Lotto New Zealand. Its profits are distributed by the New Zealand Lottery Grants Board to charities and community organizations. Sport and Recreation New Zealand, Creative New Zealand and the New Zealand Film Commission are among its beneficiaries. The Lotto also operates an instant scratchcard game, Keno.
