In the communist country of Laos, lottery officials are rigging the system by manipulating the results of the national lottery, sources in Vientiane told RFA’s Lao Service. For example, on Oct. 14 this year, the winning number 509 appeared only as a 5 on tickets sold throughout the day of the drawing, a source told RFA.
