The Vietnamese social security systems are not yet able to handle the large number of poor people in the country. Consequently, for many Vietnamese, the lottery is their only source of income. Besides selling tickets, Huong and her husband spend their spare time together cuddling, feeding and petting their pregnant daughter. Their life is a struggle, but they are happy. They are hopeful that they will soon have a bigger family. Until then, they must continue to struggle to feed themselves and their child.
