Drawings for the national lottery often show numbers that disappear from purchased tickets or appear only once, a source in the capital told RFA’s Lao Service. In one example, a number that had been listed as 509 in the drawing on Oct. 14 disappeared from purchased tickets sold throughout the day of the drawing but reappeared as 134 minutes later, the source said.
