Today, in Canada, there are four nationwide lotteries: Lotto 6/49, Lotto Max, Daily Grand, and Millionaire Life. Lottery applications are submitted through an online process and entered into the DHA’s computer system. Throughout the year, random drawings are conducted to select lottery winners. Applicants are notified by mail within 120 days after the drawing date. Those who apply for the lottery must re-apply each year as their old numbers are null and void as of December 31. Interested parties can also check the results of past lottery draws at the DHA website.
