For example, the winning number 509 in this year’s national lottery on Oct. 14 appeared only as a number 5 on tickets purchased throughout the day of the drawing, sources say.
Following public complaints, authorities in charge of the national lottery enterprise decided to reduce the number of drawings to two a week and stop the scratch lottery. But that hasn’t deterred people from buying foreign lotteries, which have been sold here illegally.
