Those who win prizes over $25,000 must redeem their tickets at the Maryland Lottery headquarters, where they will be paid in cash or by check within 30 business days. They must present a valid photo ID, proof of Social Security or Federal Tax ID, and a completed Winning Tickets Claim Form. If they are unable to claim their prize in person, they may designate an Expanded Cashing Authority Program (XCAP) retailer to process their prize. Lottery headquarters will contact the winner if they are directed to redeem their prize at another location.
