RFA’s Lao Service has spoken to a lottery salesman who said that the numbers disappear because Thailand’s Insee Trading Company knows the numbers people choose before they are revealed in the drawing. The salesman said he is aware of other instances when the winning numbers have changed from their original entries, but he did not say what changes had been made.
