The Internet is revolutionizing the lottery industry by allowing players to access state-licensed lotteries from anywhere in the world. Unlike traditional paper tickets, lottery online games use random number generators (RNGs) to determine winning numbers. This ensures fair play and protects players’ privacy. In addition, the software is constantly updated and inspected to ensure that it meets all gaming regulations. In the US, there are dozens of online lotteries, many of which are operated by GTech Corporation. The company is headquartered in West Greenwich, Rhode Island and administers 70% of the global lottery market.
