Canada currently has four nationwide lotteries: Lotto 6/49, Lotto Max, Daily Grand and Millionaire Life. These games are operated by the Interprovincial Lottery Corporation, which is a consortium of provincial/territorial lottery commissions: Atlantic Lottery Corporation (New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland and Labrador), Loto-Quebec (Quebec), Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation and Western Canada Lottery Corporation. In addition, Canada has a privately owned lottery called the Health Lottery.

Gambling in Laos is a little complicated because it is considered illegal in the country. However, there are some Special Economic Zones throughout the country where casinos operate legally and accept players from all over the world. Players from Laos are accepted by numerous offshore online casinos that don’t risk getting caught by the local authorities.

In Hanoi, HCM City has allowed ticket sales to take place at fixed locations from October 22 but not vending. One vendor said her sales have been cut by half since the coronavirus pandemic began. She said she will continue to sell the tickets because if she does not, she will not be able to pay her rent and cover basic necessities.
