For Huong, a single mother from Saigon, the profits from her lottery sales are essential. She and her husband work a 16-hour shift each day selling tickets. On good days, they can make 230 000 VN-Dong, or about 10 US-Dollars. On bad days, they barely make enough to survive. But Huong is not discouraged. She knows that someday her hard work will pay off. She just hopes it is soon.
