In Canada, a provincial lottery is called the Interprovincial Lottery Corporation and has four nationwide games: Lotto 6/49, Lotto Max, Daily Grand, and Millionaire Life. Its regional lotteries are Atlantic Lottery Corporation (New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland and Labrador), Loto-Quebec (Quebec), Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (Ontario), and Western Canada Lottery Corporation (Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, Northwest Territories, Nunavut). Its prizes include cash, cars, and travel packages. In the United States, large portions of lottery proceeds are used to support public education systems. In some states, the entire lottery system is funded by a portion of ticket sales and other non-tax revenue.
