The government is cracking down on illegal lottery sales originating in foreign countries, Finance Minister Bounchom Ubonpaseuth told the National Assembly. The government has also cut back its own sales, now offering a thrice-weekly lottery and ending the sale of its own scratch-off lottery tickets.
