Local stores then sell these tickets to individual sellers who strive around the streets of Saigon to sell them. On a good day, they can make up to 230 000 VN-Dong ($10 US-Dollars). These profits are a big boost for poor Vietnamese who cannot afford any other source of income and choose to gamble rather than beg on the street.
