Lottery officials in the communist nation of Laos are rigging the system by manipulating winning numbers to avoid large pay-outs, RFA’s Lao Service has learned. Drawings are frequently marred by numbers that vanish from purchased tickets or are deemed unlucky and are rarely picked. One example occurred on Oct. 14 this year when the number 509 appeared only as five on purchased tickets throughout the day of the drawing, while access to the number was restored only an hour before the drawing took place.
Lottery online is easy to use and convenient via mobile phone. The application provides information on the lottery results and helps you check your lucky numbers. The results are updated on a regular basis and can be checked at any time. It is a great tool to help you win the lottery.
A Lao deputy finance minister and state lottery supervisor told RFA that the Aug. 17 directive sent from the office of Prime Minister Thongloun Sisoulith instructs the Ministry of Finance, which oversees the country’s legal state lottery, to work with the Ministry of Public Security to better manage the issue. Officials are also urged to reduce the number of weekly lottery drawings to one and to handle prize money in a more transparent manner.
