Laos

In the case of Laos, the country’s prime minister has sent a directive urging the ministry that oversees the state lottery to work with police to better manage it. The directive requires that drawing times be reduced to a single time per week and that winners are chosen in a more transparent manner. It also says that informal football lotteries and chance sales made by short messaging service will be closed down.
