However, Huong, a single mother of two, struggles to make ends meet. She and her husband Manh work 16 hours a day on the streets of Saigon, where they sell lottery tickets to passersby. Their day starts at 5 am with a breakfast of rice and vegetable soup before heading out to the street for their shifts. They take a break for lunch before returning to the lottery booths in the afternoon.
