On good days she sells up to 250 lottery tickets and can make a profit of about US-Dollars a day. Her husband Manh accompanies her during the 16-hour shift, which starts at 5 am. They have a quick breakfast of rice and vegetable soup before hitting the streets. They are often tired by the end of their shift, but still prefer it to the alternative of being homeless. The couple is planning to buy their own apartment soon.
